Mission Internships In Mbale

The Mbale Mission Team (MMT) every year offers a 6-12 week internship for a limited number of mission minded individuals and couples. MMT works in a multi-tribal area emphasizing both rural and urban work. We spend much effort in leadership training, congregational development and women’s ministry.

Internships are tailored to the maturity and abilities of the interns. Generally, interns observe village and town church activities. If they are able, interns may also teach Bible lessons, do evangelistic outreach, help with office work, and do a field survey.

The Mbale Mission Team requires all interns to participate in the following activities:

bulletLocal town survey
bulletCultural orientation
bulletLanguage studies (3 times per week)
bulletVillage visits and house to house prayers
bulletCultural studies
bulletTuesday office activities
bulletTeam devotionals and prayer breakfasts
bulletTown ministries
bulletThree-day bonding experience
