James and Noeli have five children (Abigail, birthday 5 August 1985; Ruth, birthday 14 July 1986; Linda, birthday 29 January 1990; Ambrose, birthday 11 November 1991; and Sandra, birthday 5 May 2000). They moved from their home in Kenya to work in Mbale in January 1995. Both James and Noeli are graduates of the Messiah Theological Institute basic-certificate program in Bible and ministry, and are working toward advanced certificates.  James is in his third year of a Bachelors degree program at International Christian Ministries (ICM) in Kenya.  Noeli recently completed a counseling certificate also from ICM.  Their daughter Ruth is in her first year at Kampala International University, where she is beginning her undergraduate degree in law.

James and Noeli both do rural ministry in Pallisa and Tororo districts, James with church visitation and Noeli with women’s teaching. They also serve as counselors for a wide variety of problems during Tuesday-morning office hours. Noeli grades tests and keeps students’ records for the Mbale Mission Team's introductory correspondence courses program. James preaches at MCC from time to time, helps train others to teach the church-seminar curriculum, and takes evangelistic and teaching videos to churches and schools that request them.
