Intern Orientation and Town Survey
On
Thursday, May 18, the interns learned what they would be doing the next 7
weeks. After their orientation, they headed off into town, to get a
feel for the town, and familiarized themselves with the Ugandan Culture!

Going through the orientation booklets in the Tyler's living room.

Negotiating prices with the "boda's"- public bicycles that are used as
transportation.

Crossing the street!

Walking down the road!

Figuring out what to do next!
After getting to know town,
they all went and took a tour of MTI and MCC, where they will be spending a
great deal of time!

Office Day!
Every Tuesday, the Mbale Mission Team hold an Office time down at MTI to
address the needs of the community. On May 23rd, not only was Office
happening, but MTI started a course. The Interns got to know the
students, and will be spending the week down at MTI putting together a
presentation that they will be giving to the team later on.
